The Rock Academy’s enrichment program is a chance for your child to gain more skills in an extracurricular activity. These classes will enhance your child’s education in an innovative, engaging and fun atmosphere.
Enrichment Program Details:
· 10 week program
· Classes begin February 9th and run through April 20th with March 23rd off for Spring Break
· Classes meet each Tuesdays 12:30 to 2:30 pm
· Cost per session in $110 for Art & Science and $150 for Gymnastics for the full 10 weeks
· Children can attend classes even if they are not enrolled in The Rock Academy
· Classes are open to children ages 3 to 12 years old
· Class size is limited to 12 children.
· Must have 5 to start a class
Classes offered for 2010 spring semester enrichment program session are:
Science & Discovery – This class is all about exploration. The teacher will take your child Over the Rainbow and onto Twirling Tornadoes and to the depths of the solar system. This class will involve experiments and develop critical thinking skills. Available to children ages 3 to 12 years. This class will be taught by Ms. Stacie Groves.
Tumble 2 U Gymnastics - Tumble 2 U gymnastics is a positive fun program for children ages 3 – 12. We focus on beginning gymnastic skills which include cartwheels, handstands, and rolls. The equipment includes the high bar, balance beam, floor tumbling, and vault. We make sure the children are having fun while they learn exciting gymnastic skills. This class will be taught by Ms Debbie Pattison. The cost for this class is $150.
Amazing Art – We believe that children fortunate enough to have their creativity nurtured at an early age become better learners. Our age appropriate curriculum is designed to allow children to draw from their own experience to explore their creative side while providing key learning concepts on drawing, color, and design as well as art history. We provide a positive, enriching environment that supports self esteem, confidence and a fun learning environment. Available to children ages 3 to 12 years.
